We invite you to a low-key horseback riding tour in Poland, which takes you through the peaceful, green landscapes of the Opole region and the Eastern Sudetes, as well as the charming park of a beautiful castle. This trip is focused on contact with nature, off-road riding, and the joy of the journey, discovering the region’s rich natural beauty, culture, and flavors.

The tour begins in Przysiecz near Opole, at the end of the Opole Horse Trail. For the first few days, we travel through lowland and forested areas, before moving into the more mountainous landscape of the Opawskie Mountains in the second part of the trip. The tour culminates in an overnight stay in a castle, which we first view from horseback.

  • Niemodlin Forest and the oldest stand of Eastern White Pine trees in Europe;
  • Trails through the Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park;
  • Riding through the castle park;
  • SPA area in the mountain section;
  • Exceptional regional cuisine.

Expedition

Our adventure begins at a charming agritourism farm in Przysiecza, located at the end of the Opole Horse Trail. It’s here that we’ll spend the first three nights, savoring regional dishes and relaxing after days full of excitement. The first route leads through the fairytale gardens of a nearby castle – among towers, fountains, canals, and bridges. The next day is a true feast for nature lovers: we’ll traverse the Niemodlin Forest, near the oldest stand of Eastern White Pine in Europe. The smooth forest trails are perfect for long gallops, allowing you to fully absorb the atmosphere of the wilderness. We’ll then move to a modern guesthouse nestled among forests and mountains, where we’ll spend the next two nights. The trails lead through the Opawskie Mountains Landscape Park – green hills, valleys, and sweeping panoramas of the Eastern Sudetes create a scenery that will long be remembered. In the evenings, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest in the wellness area: swimming pools, saunas, jacuzzi and, for those who wish, a glass of excellent wine from a local vineyard.

From the mountainous terrain, we’ll set off on horseback back to the farm where we started the tour. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a picnic and a moment of respite. After saying goodbye to the horses and releasing them to the green pastures, we’ll ride to the castle we’ve previously admired from the saddle. A gala dinner in a historic hall and an overnight stay in the castle chambers provide a unique culmination of the entire trip.
